Meet the Team

My foundation in this industry was laid long before I launched my own firm. Having grown up in my family’s auto salvage and towing business, I was immersed in heavy equipment from the very beginning. I was riding along with my father and grandfather by the age of two, and by eight, I was independently operating wheel loaders and skid steers. These early years instilled in me a deep, intuitive understanding of machinery that remains the bedrock of my work today.

In 1994, at the age of 16, I began a four-year tenure with a family friend in residential development. This was a formative partnership: while he provided the expertise in subdivision design and home construction, I brought the hands-on technical skill required to execute the site work.

In 1998, I took the next step and acquired my first dump truck, track-hoe, and dozer. This acquisition marked the official beginning of the Younger Contracting legacy. Over the past three decades, I have refined my craft through a dual perspective: managing my own successful operations and leading large-scale projects for major excavation contractors throughout the region.

This extensive background has shaped my unique approach to problem-solving. I possess a natural ability to visualize complex project challenges and identify efficient, effective solutions before a single bucket of dirt is moved. This foresight allows me to listen closely to a client’s objectives, evaluate various strategies, and implement the most practical, high-quality path to success.
